Welcome to the Berakah Project - Music for the Heart

A Personal Message from from the members of Berakah - Thanks to all the people who came to our Purcell Room concert on March 7th. It was a great success and we appreciate your feedback, which has been wholly positive. It was lovely to see old friends and make new ones, and the band truly enjoyed playing for you all. It was also an honour to hear Karen Armstrong speak, and her Charter For Compassion is an idea that we here at Berakah Towers wholly support. Please feel free to leave messages on our guest book page, and if you are a Facebook member please join our group. We love to hear from you! We're all in this together so spread the word - and the word is "PEACE" - x x x

Welcome to the web site for the acclaimed UK-based band BERAKAH, a new ensemble featuring musicians from Jewish, Christian and Muslim faith heritage. The word “Berakah” is found in both Arabic and Hebrew, meaning blessings or grace.
“It is music to make you close your eyes and dance in your head, an arresting confection of jazzy improvisation, Middle Eastern chords and the beat of the darbukka drum.” - The Times, September 2006
